Dulcie Release ‘Test Drive’

I reckon it’s about time I pack my shit, jump on a bus (I don’t own a car) and head to Western Australia. There’s just something going on with the music over there. From bigger acts like Tame Impala, John Butler Trio and Birds of Tokyo to up-and-comers like Carla Geneve, Joan and the Giants and Siobhan Cotchin, there’s just so much goodness to listen to. Another band to check out if you haven’t already is Dulcie.
Coming in fresh with their first release of 2023, Dulcie's new song ‘Test Drive’ is a dangerous song because it will get stuck in your head.
On the track, the band says “‘Test Drive’ captures the feeling of being in a one-sided relationship - the kind where you doubt your partner’s intentions are aligned with yours, or if you’re being led on".
I can just imagine being at a Dulcie gig and screaming my lungs out to this song. And if you’re in WA and willing to make the trek down to Denmark (the WA coastal town, not the Nordic country), then you won’t have to wait long for that gig as they will be playing The Dam this Friday the 27th of January.
